The WWE had no control over that sign, other than to confiscate it.  
Because the show was live, when the guy raised it, there was no way the 
WWE could have not shown it.  I saw it only once, BTW, for less than a 
second.

As for Orton's language, it was in the context of his being a heel, a 
villain, a bad-guy; he was soundly booed for it, and Benjamin's facial 
reaction to it was priceless.

If that language sent a message, it was a message that was negative 
towards those who would use such language.

I'll worry about this, and Latino bashing, if faces ever start doing it.
