I have just asked my ISP to set me up to enable UUCP, plus give me a list
of 10 easy steps to get running.  BTW, if we were to set up an alternate
fido-like structure with RFC-822, it would be a great time to get rid of
the P4 requirements for a phone to be online 4-5 AM, plus requiring phone
numbers published.  Instead, we could have something like 80% of nodes
private.  It would also be good if we could have a way that no-one can
actually be expelled from the network, all that can happen is that you
can't find any (out of 1000 or whatever) nodes who are consenting to
exchange mail with you.  The way it ought to be!  BFN.  Paul.
