JT>-> JT>What are kakarikis????
JT>-> They are birds from New Zealand. They look rather like a grass keet
JT>-> but more personality and more like a parrot.
JT>I'm continually amazed by the wealth of wonderful birds from that part
JT>of the world. How did you come to have the kakarikis? They must be
JT>very rare in this country.
Fell in love with them years ago. Had the chance every so often to buy
some. That is a perk of having a friend that is a bird dealer.
Recently he had some that I wanted and he owed me some money so I put
some money with it and got the kakarikis. Now I need a couple more.
JT>I'm breathing a sigh of relief with you. It's incredibly sad to watch a
JT>person you love deteriorate in what should be their prime. So who
JT>builds the bird cages in your family? You must be getting good at
JT>construction work like some of the rest of us women here (winking at
JT>Fran).
JT> TTYL, Jan
I KNOW. I was tripping. Am relieved that it is JUST back surgery.
I make some cages. If I can I get Ed to do it but then I will wait
forever for him to get around to getting it done. If Iget into a mood I
go out and knock it out in no time. And it doesn't fall apart when I do
it either.
