Use WinQueryObject to get the object's handle, then use WinQueryObjectPath
to get the absolute path associated with that handle:

HOBJECT hObject;

hObject = WinQueryObject (""); // Get handle
WinQueryObjectPath (hObject, szPath, sizeof (szPath)); // Get path in szPath

This will only work under Warp (because of WinQueryObjectPath).

 JD> 3. Is there some other way to nest an object?

Yes, create a folder on the desktop () using
WinCreateObject. Give it a setup string like
"OBJECTID=". Then you can insert the other
objects in . This should work even in OS/2 2.0.

Greetings,

Eelco.
