1237bda51c4d tech Hello Tom - TW>>> And while it is a PAIN by the Very Nature of Windows it TW>>> in the end is ALWAYS the best solution when things really TW>>> start acting crazy. ->> There are people who hack away with a passion into the ->> registry but it's highly discouraged for the average person ->> because of the danger of really fubar'ing it up big time! ->> You really have to know what you are looking for in the ->> first place before going into that wild jungle. TW> Taht is Exacticaly why it is Best to Flush everything and TW> satert with a FDisk/format Install. Althopuhg I have an TW> Emergency Norton Ghost Image of my Core Minimum working TW> System. So I go back that way. I've always believed that keeping an image copy of the basic system , as each person wants that 'basic system' to be, should be standard operating procedure for any experienced PC user (at their place of work or at home). With CDRs and now DVDR drives it's just not worth the grief to have to reinstall and reconfigure all of your preferences just because some jerk messed up the install software and trashed your system for you. :-\ > > , , > o/ Charles.Angelich \o , > __o/ > / > USA, MI < \ __\__ ___ * ATP/16bit 2.31 * ...
