I've never used novaterm 9.5, but apparently there is some sort of bug
with the Zmodem. I *think* there was a patch or a poke to correct it. I
don't have the details though :-(
Ymodem and Xmodem 1k should work. I've heard of no problems in this
regard.

The best, easiest and cheapest way to do this is to buy one of CMD's
hard drives.. They come complete with cables, power supply, SCSI drive
mech, interface and full documentation. You just plug them in and away
you go.

Those that locate at $1c01 were saved to disk using a C128. If these
are machine language programs then they will probably only run on the
C128. If they are BASIC programs then they may or may not run in C64
mode.
Best thing to do with *any* file you d/load from a BBS is to load it
*without* the ",1" after the filename.. This will cause the program to
load into the BASIC storage area regardless of the machine used when
the file was saved.
