openings I've ever seen. Empty stage, four stools. A string quartet
comes out to the stools and begins playing. After a few notes, the stage
explodes, and when the smoke clears the string quartet is apparently
gone and Kansas is onstage, playing (I don't remember what).

I didn't hear the first album for a long time, but we did have a single
release of "Bringin' It Back" at the radio station. The station had a
copy of _Song For America_, which is where we started giving them
airplay.
