subject: 64DD`s Start

SI> Hello All,
SI>
SI> The first Time I read about the 64DD, N64 wasn't even release in
the
SI> U.S.! If I'm wrong, then it was a while after the N64 was
SI> released. Either way, N64 didn't even get a good start and
SI> they had already planned an add-on! I think they knew that
SI> they wouldn't be able to get all the stuff they wanted on
SI> the N64, so they planned an add-on. And whenever they
SI> stuff they wanted on the N64 would be cheaper, they would
SI> release the add-on. I think Nintendo if very stupid. I
SI> would to hear what you tink about the 64DD's start.
Personnaly? I think it's dumb too, making people pay like 100 $ more, then
another 80 - 90$ for the games, just to keep on touch..
And also, don't foget that the 64DD might not show up in the US (I said this

while bunch of times)... Like I read, the N64 in the States is doing pretty
well (2nd after PSX), while in Japan, they are 3rd! So, they NEED to Add-on
in
Japan, while in the States, they don't need the Add-on, it's in Second place,
and apparently, it's close to PSX (which I doubt :) ). So why launch a
dd-on
while their machine is doing well?
So that chances of this "god-like" machine coming to the US are very thin.
