Add some apple to the cornmeal and sausage mix, maybe some chopped
pecans as well. Years ago I experimented with a cornbread/sausage apple
dressing but Steve didn't like it as much as he liked the traditional
bread one so I dropped the experiment. Then we found out he was allergic
to corn; another reason not to make it but the taste lingers in my mind.
