Hi Jim,

I know, but can't convice Steve to rip out the electric line for the
stove and run a gas line. Shouldn't be that hard; we've got a gas water
heater and gas fireplace. We also heat with gas so I've no idea why they
put in electric for the stove when the house was built. Could be, since
the stove is in the center of the house and vented thru the attic, that
they didn't want to vent a gas stove thru the attic. The house was built
in 1992; we bought it in 2014.
