I don't know for sure, but I think that since the ribbon stuff is supposed to
be so common in all windows apps, that if they start bullying companies for
developing look-alikes there will be simply no end to it. Many developers have
done their own menu systems as well, which is basically the same thing.

That's exactly it - a new, more space wasting toolbar which changes all the
time so you'll never be able to find that one tool you once found and now need
again.
