I must have something configured wrong.  I tried to use wp 6.1 on my new
computer and the screen would go blank half the time.  It was very
unreliable.  I tried booting directly into dos and it still would not
work half the time.  I also have my copy of 6.0c but did not try that.
So far, I am extremely happy with wp8!  I changed the keyboard layout to
the 6.1 dos version and almost all the keys are the same now as they
were before.  Corel did a fine job with this new version but I'm sorry
that wp is not owned by WordPerfect Corp like in the good old days!
There is a new release of wp8 called .268.  I called customer service
who forwarded me to technical service.  There is no way to get the new
version other than through the web!  Now why can't they put the update
on a few disks and send it out the old fashioned way?
