Visions of the Atomic Age:Since 1945 is a two-day symposium at Johns
Hopkins to be held February 7th and 8th, 2003. The focus will be
comparative. We are inviting scholars whose work deals with Russia,
Germany, developing countries, the U.S., the U.K., India, China,
Japan, Latin America and other places to present and discuss the
similarities and differences in the way in which the "Atomic Age" was 
conceived and integrated into public life in these countries.
