Yep, that is what I was emplying. Because of Newteks jacked up policy that
us Toaster Users don't get an upgrade discount if we move to another
platform, I am forced to buy Lightwave 3.5 standalone at over $500 just so
that I can upgrade to teh 4.0 PC version for $150. If I don't do it this
way and wait for the PC version to come out and buy it that way, I'll be
spending closer to $1,000 for the software. Ugh! I guess I could always
sell the Stand Alone for $300 or something if I don't have any other
amiga's to run it on. Take Care.

As far as having a toaster... well I figure that soon after NAB, prices on
A2000's and toaster systems will drop A LOT, only because I think A4000's
and toaster systems for sale are going to drop a lot... and I say this
because I think Newtek has something up their sleeve. A PC Toaster? Maybe
a PC FLYER? They have missed their dealines for the flyer by months,
which makes me think that they had to redo a lot of things (because of new
hardware??? PC ???? Compatability??? Porting??? Hmmm..) and the 4.0
Lightwave version which should have been out in December is still not out.
Anybody want to place a bet about Newtek coming out with one of the two
above mentioned products? Goodbye Amiga 4000 values!
Take Care,
Manny
