Hi Michael. Sorry it took so long, but I had to go and look it up.
ML> birth certificate which gave me some info. When you were checking the

ML> Margaret J. (Rogers) Brown, they were both born in Hyde Park, MA in 
ML> 1896 or 1897. I am unsure of the year because Emily's birth

There were only 2 Sydney Brown's listed (no middle initials on any). 
One was born 24 Feb 1896. SS card was issued in Indiana. He died 03 Apr 1988 
in Sunland, CA. 
The other one was born 23 Jan 1896. SS card issued in Texas. He died Apr 1977 
in San Diego, CA.
Better luck with Margaret Brown. There were 3 that I found, but again there 
were no middle initials. All 3 had their SS cards issued in MA. 
The first one was born 15 Dec 1896. She died Jan 1980 in Stoughton, MA. 
Number 2 was born 6 Feb 1896. She died Dec 1980 in Hyde Park, MA. 
Number 3 was born 01 Aug 1897. She died Jul 1984. in Brookline, NH.
