subject: WRC: Rally New Zealand: Antony Warmbold leg two summary

From: press{at}motorsport.com

Antony Warmbold was quite frustrated at the end of this second leg. At the
beginning of the day he was disturbed by a throttle problems, which forced
him to stop into SS12 in order to repair, but it was particularly his Ford
Focus handling which disturbed him. The rally is now transformed in a huge
testing session for the German driver; the last leg will be the occasion to
explore new set-up adjustments in order to try to make his car more
efficient.

Antony Warmbold " It was not a good day! First, I was delayed by an
electronic throttle problem. I stopped in order to repair; it's takes
around 8 minutes. Then when I went back on the stage I couldn't see
Francois Duval --because of the dust- who was just there, I am sincerely
sorry to have blocked him. The rest of the day was not better, our set-up
is not good. The handling of my car is delicate, I have the feeling to hold
all the road and I do not have any grip .For us the Rally is now like a
test, tomorrow we will try a different set-up closer to what we had in
Mexico, we will see if it's better or not! "
