subject: Drawing a bitmap on top of another bitma22:02:3006/21/97

Gerard de Vries mentioned this to All:
 GdV> I've tried  "DigitImage.Canvas.Draw( x, y, MyImage.Picture.Bitmap );"
for
 GdV> example.
That should work fine and should not flash. Perhaps it's a problem with your
video driver. Try temporarily switching to the standard VGA driver and see
how it looks. Another thought: is DigitImage on top of another control? If
so, the other control could be trying to repaint itself.
 GdV> Somebody hinted to me that setting
 GdV> "DigitImage.ControlStyle := DigitImage.ControlStyle + [csFramed,
 GdV> csOpaque];" might help, but that doesn't seem to be the case.
That won't have any effect unless you are creating your own control.
