on, so she can practice her math and writing in her room...her and I play
school on the weekends, although she likes being the teacher...which is
fine because at least that way, she has to read her words correctly to give
them to me to spell!, she has various sets of phonics flash cards,
addition and subtraction flash cards, BroderBund computer books, create
sentence books (Whinnie the Pooh), alphabet games, matching games, letter
and number games, and she loves it when I give her sentences to write!
She also has the eraseable marker large cards for numbers groups, number
writing and tracing, as well as letters.  We play number count games a lot
of times when we eat dinner... i.e.  How many carrots are on your plate...
What items on the table start with the letter F, and how many are there...
etc.  What more can we do????  We can't afford private tutoring, or Sylvan
Reading Center, and we most definitely can't afford a private school and
I'm just not physically or mentally able to do home schooling...nor do I
have the education background to do so.
 
We're at our wits end for our daughter...she deserves better than this at
school...and they don't agree.  
 
Thanks to anyone who can offer help...or to anyone who at least read my
post and could understand where we're at with Chelsea!
