He's talking about the theme music from the movie.  What we used instead
was a "parody" of the music that you heard whenever the monolith showed up
in the movie.  I did something that sounded a bit like Gyorgy Ligeti's "Lux
Aeterna" (I believe that's correct - it's been a while since I studied the
liner notes ).
