You'd be terribly disappointed.  I have a pair of powered Audix PH-5
speakers and a Yamaha subwoofer, all hooked into the control room output of
a Mackie CR1604-VLZ mixer.  Even the CD player mentioned in the last
message isn't the cream of the crop - it's a harmon/kardon FL8400.  Hey, it
gets the job done. ;-)
Besides, if I had a setup like you're imagining, I'd blow the dust out of
the ceiling space and shatter the windows here.
