Yes but not often in Sasebo.  Mostly Kagoshima where there's a geisha
school ¨ofsome local renown.  Lovely kimono's and friendly people.  It's
somewhat of a ¨dying art now but they are still around.

BTW, if you or another come to Japan, don't assume any lady wearing a
kimono is ¨a geisha.  She probably isnt .  At the 'Black Ship'
festival in Shimoda, ¨during that time many of the people will wear
traditional costume.  You'll also ¨have a USA ship visit with all the
sailors in their dress whites the whole ¨time.  Lots of events and things.

I'm trying to recall and i think Tuba was something found in Korea? 
Singapore ¨was Tiger I think.  They tend to get all mixed up after a while
traveling out ¨here.
