Bir, some weeks back you told about probs getting the front panel USB
ports to work, and bir also it was with an Asus mainboard.  Do you
recall the details of the problem and its solution?

Reason I ask -  Ray Edester has a new "screamer" Asus board with AMD
Athlon XP2800+ or so, 333 fsb dual channel DDR, and all, new case and
PS, and he can't seem to get the front panel USB ports to work.

Ray hasn't quite figured out how to do Fido over a direct internet
connection -  at last word, he is now able to download qwk packets from
Docsplace, (direct over internet, without using Telnet software like
Netterm),  but he can't yet upload rep packets using the Opera browser
on his Linux box.
