Hello Jeff,

BL> I'm not sure what Paul intends to do with AVT. I thought his idea
BL> was to take the Fido echoes of interest and use the Internet to move
BL> them; that someone would upload AVT onto the Internet and I could get
BL> it called arsewipe{at}happyvalley.AVT.com.au or something. Now, I
BL> haven't got a clue what he intends. He's even talking about cutting
 BL> LOCUSER.

JG> If worst comes to worst, I can gate AVT, Locuser and Locsysop from
JG> fido echomail to internet newsgroups and send them to Paul via UUCP. I
JG> already gate internet newsgroups into Squish message bases for my own
JG> use. The software I use can do the reverse although I'll have to read
JG> the manual to set it up :-)
JG> The only problem is that John T. will be ultimately responsible with
JG> regard to the Fidonet side of things as I'm a point off his system. It
JG> would need his go ahead.

It's ok by me, I had intended on doing it anyway. There is only the very
minor point that I just have to find/load/configure the software,
that's all. :-)
