Alice found out the hard way what happens when you eat too much
of it, which goes to show you can have your cake and eat it too.  :)

The first thing Alice came across was a jar labeled "ORANGE MARMALADE."
But it was empty.  Surely there must have been a reason why.

Before she found the glass box and ate the cake, Alice drank a bottle
marked only as "DRINK ME", not really knowing what the contents were.
Of course, being a very wise little girl, Alice read very carefully and
noticed the bottle was NOT marked "poison" before she tasted it. Finding
it to be a very nice flavor of cherry-tart, she finished off the entire
contents.

"What a curious feeling!" said Alice.  "I must be shutting up like a
telescope."

And so it was indeed: she was now only ten inches high...
