Hi Vince--
You may find it hard to understand, but this has been IBM's practice
with "workstation" language processors from the beginning. For example:
IBM stopped issuing CSD's for the C compiler I use (IBM C/C++ Tools
(compiler) v 2.01 with CSD 12) when they issued VA C++ v 3.
Perhaps you are confused by IBM practice with regard to operating
systems. IBM announced only a few months ago that OS/2 2.1 would not be
made Y2K compatible, which indicates (to me) that they had been putting
out patches until that time. For present (at least through 2001) they
are issuing FixPaks for both Warp 3 and Warp 4.
Regards,
--Murray
