 I saw the AGP at Warwick Farm when it was a real race with real
drivers (not the Ecclestone Circus), and I was amazed how precise they
were. We were sitting at the corner just before the long straight, and
every lap was *exactly* the same! At the time, "THEY" (the alleged
experts) said that Brabham never drove the same lap twice, but his
gear-change was the same to an inch and a millisecond, every lap.

 I've been trying to get that heee-haar change ever since. And in
those days (1961?) they used manual box with a clutch and everything.

 That's right. If you forget, you run up the back of the guy in
front.

 Who cares about p-drivers? The *general* speed is now 100K. Back in
the 60s the general speed was whatever was safe. Lex Davidson argued
in court that he was safe at 200K on the way back from Bathurst... and
won!

 Or maybe it's just you... *expecting* to be treated differently.

 I treat "L" drivers differently. You never know what they're going
to do.

 Pass as in "overtake," or pass as in pass-by? In peak hours, I
overtake hardly anyone. We're all going the same speed.
