Ok folks, there are two things that are possible here:

1. I get denodelisted

2. I get access to all the echos cut from my current feed.

For the second problem, I can switch to John Tserkezis.  Jeff Green, if
John suddenly finds himself in the poo because of that, you could become a
node, and we feed off you, and when all xx points on my system have been
denodelisted (!) we'd have to think a bit harder (or move to the internet,
maybe I could become an internet gate or something)!

The first problem of being totally denodelisted, means that you certainly
won't be getting any routed netmail, and you're not meant to be getting any
echos either, although I dare say that the people who want AUST_AVTECH from
Down South etc will poll here directly anyway, and wouldn't give a stuff if
711/934 appeared in the SEENBYs so long as they didn't lose the echo!

But as a general solution, I'll have to think of a way I can get mail as a
point off John T yet still feed you guys.  I think I can actually do it
with my existing software (Tobruk) although I wouldn't have been able to do
it with squish.

But there's considerable debate about what exactly the point of that is,
when we can all just poll John T directly!  Although one problem at the
moment is that he's only got a V32 modem online at the moment.  Personally,
I'd like to see if it is actually possible to do the way I was saying, but:

1. You are unlikely to have the same degree of enthusiasm at giant
experiments that I have.

2. It would make more sense to suss out the othernets.  Incidentally,
that's a good point.  I am actually a member of adultlinks already, but at
least in the past, I was unable to provide you with a feed for that,
because my software only handled the one address.  I'll have to have
another think about that, because maybe I can provide it now.  But
certainly, if I've lost my 3:711/934 address, there's nothing stopping me
making 69:something address my primary address, and I definitely have the
technology for that.  That way, if anyone wants to pick up AUST_AVTECH,
they have to get it via an adultlinks address! We could be the technical
arm of adultlinks!  Or maybe have a net which is a combination of all nets,
and just gates everything into one.  I'll have to think about the options
there.

3. Maybe now's the time to take that plunge into the internet?
