Ok, so there is a driver for the DVD drive, then there is a filesys driver,
then there is a decoder like decss or windvd8, then an encryptor video
device driver for the video output, then an unencryptor for the video input
on the display device, yes?

Lets take the video output driver, if that's been hacked so it provides an
unencrypted high def stream can it be disabled by some authority? Isn't
this supposed to be part of the trusted video path that palladium was
supposed to provide? If it can't be remotely disabled by Microsoft so it
won't work in Vista, wouldn't the MPAA be a bit upset?
