BV> This note is to let you know that I may not be able to pickup mail
BV> for a while. If you want the disk space, feel free to delete any
BV> mail which gets queued up in my absence. I can't tell you for sure
BV> when I will go off air, or when I will return, as this is totally
BV> beyond my control. If all goes well, you won't notice anything.
BV> It it doesn't then I may be off-air until the end of March.
No worries, should be fine.
BV> To cut short story medium; we are due to move into our new house on
BV> Tuesday (sorry, but it will be second hand before you get to move in)
:-)
BV> and Telecom don't have any available lines in the street. We ordered
BV> the new lines three months ago and if we are lucky they might have
BV> them installed around the 20th of March and actually working at the
BV> end of March. Until then, Telecom are giving me three mobiles, two
BV> for voice and one fixed mobile for my fax. The problem is that they
BV> have told me that the fixed mobile will be totally useless for data
BV> transmissions. Once I get the office setup, I will give it a try but
BV> that won't be until the end of next week anyway.
You have successfully used your mobile to collect mail before, presumably
you will be able to do so again. Just remember to try out the low speeds.
BV> As the actual work orders went in today to get the mobiles underway
BV> and the re-direction switched over on Tuesday, I'm expecting ALL the
BV> phones to go dead at any minute. At least I won't be disappointed
BV> when it actually happens.
Good luck with your new place! It's probably about time you deserve to see
some rewards for all your hard work. I'm doing that sort of thing too,
getting a new kitchen in. Although that's mainly so that I can spend my
money before losing it in mining stocks! BFN. Paul.
