Hi Roy!

Who can "appoint" ZC? So - it is elections... But means I understand.

VD>> 6.2 - "The Zone Coordinator is selected by an absolute majority vote

RW> The word 'selected' means the same as appointed. Not elected.

RW> No, there is nothing mentioned about the (s)election of any *C in that

No, it's wrong.

VD>> Note - all of them are "selected", not
"elected"! I am not sure in

"select by votes".

RW> Selected means that an NC is appointed by their RC, who in turn is

Appoint can make by only high power level, so ZC can be appoint only by IC (or ZCC).

RW> There are no *C elections mentioned in Fidonet policy.

RW> Voting, as in P4, section 8.6 is for policy changes and policy changes

RW> impeachment proceeding, as mentioned in 8.7.2, but it's only a guideline.

8.7.2 say "election" ("by votes") (because this is
process of changing ZC), and procedure as 8 . So - it is a single sample of
"elections" in P4.

VD>> Thank you for your Regional Policy. I wait your ail.

RW> You should have it and a few other items by now. Check them out. Only the

RW> unless you get your ZC to approve it.

RW> The others were proposals that never got implemented, although they should
RW> have. And a comment about P4 by the founder of Fidonet, Tom Jennings.

Yes, I received all these. Thank you.
