isnt there the feature which marked windows with a RED border when they
misbehaved? (in the W4 beta was this marking - i think IBM removed the red
border in W4 ga). 

as i remember there should be a way to TAKE the focus from "dead"
(not repsonding) apps. 

but i cant tell you anymore how it works. i never had a dead app here.
