 I've never actually paid a speeding fine, but I've been booked a few
times and I always talk to the cop. They all say "10K" (not 10%), so
like you I drive juse under 10K over.

 Me too. I've been past that camera in Concord Road at 65 or so (by
accident).

 Isn't it a 50K suburban limit in Victoria? It's years since I've
driven there.

 After you've driven it for a while, you get a pretty good idea
against what the other cars are doing, especially on an expressway.
