Your problem is that you want to have the cake and eat it too. "Fidonet sysop"
only makes sense in the context of Fidonet. If echomail is not part of Fdionet,
then excluding non Fidonet sysops does NOT make sense.

If echomail is not part of Fidonet, what rule or law that David is bound to,
forbids him to make FN_SYSOP or FIDO_SYSOP readeable to anyone?

Can't have ot both ways...
