WHY should they not be accessing? What is chatted about there there that is so
special that one needs to be a sysop to witness it? Are you so ashamed of your
behaviour in those echoes that you would want your users to see what sort of
person you really are?

I do not have a problem with those rules - without those specs our systems
wouldn't communicate.
I don't really have a problem with the power mongering - I simply ignore it
when it comes to my system. It's the people trying to shove it down my throat
that sticks in my craw.

Without echo mail Fidonet is nothing. The sole purpose of Fidonet is to
