1) POP will only pull a single email address and is useless for gating to a
BBS.
2) use souper, vsoup, uqwk or equivilent to pull newsgroups to a .BAG format
3) use GIGO to move the .BAG formats to a BBS and back again. It also has
NNTP and SMTP posters. It also has a SMTPDaemon to receive mail to a domain.
'course you need domain service.
Best bet if your ISP won't domain host you is to contract with someone who
will and use UUCP via telnet to pull the email portion of the load from them.
You can still use the NNTP side locally.
