In the movie. There was a scene of an attempt on Napoleon's life.  His
carriage is passing by and a cannon is launched at it.. Now folks watch
this really careful now.... the cannon is lit by a BIC LIGHTER.


I know I'm not making this up. The famous critic Tom Shales wrote of
it in his column that very week. (This was in the 80's.. a made for TV
movie called Josephine and Napoleon. I thought it was a bit R rated
for TV.)
