Well, if a 'nobody' will do, this relates to the latent image factor and
that varies by the particular film material involved and of course the
storage factors, etc. By rule of thumb, a so-called amateur film has
'built-in' protection for that type situation while the corresponding
professional films do not. The thinking is that pros will shoot and process
while the box brownie users will do some at Christmas, a couple at Easter
maybe, and some firewords on July 4th.
Specifics I cannot offer but it's safe to say the longer an image remains in
latent form, undeveloped, the greater the chances for loss of contrast
combined with more of a grainy appearance. Sometimes we may get away with a
year or so of residence in the camera and decent camera storage conditions
but two years is pushing our luck.
There used to chemistry which acted as an anti-fog agent which could be used
to offset some of that type damage but I suspect with the many changes in
films that it likely is relegated to memoriess by now. Someone may dig up
printed information to answer your proposal but it doesn't reside here!
