Yeah, I understand that. But to come out and say it is not a
fault with Arachne... It sounds just so dismissive, as though he
is impliying that the servers should be changed to accomodate
Arachne.
As a general purpose browser, Arachne should work with all
servers; at least that seems to be implied. But in that respect
Arachne fails to deliver.
Is that a fault or a just peculiarity? Is the word "fault" maybe
too pejorative?
With respect to my ISP's FTP server, I note that it works
properly with Netscape 3, but not with Opera. IMO, Opera also is
"faulty" in that respect.
I can accept that Arachne is not universally powerful -- hey, for
a browser that works in base memory it is incredibly good!
But let's admit it has -- well, not faults -- let's say a few
limitations that prevent it from working with some servers. I can
accept that :-)
