Greets John!
Isn't it always the case that when one posts an embarrassingly
stupid offering it seems to go all round the world and attract
replies for the next three months?
Yep, I've got Voyager, AWeb and IBrowse (latest) all hooked up
and have found that each has its strengths and weaknesses. I
can't make my mind up about them. The Amiga mags are no help
at all as they (the experts!) all differ.
Yep, I've tried AmiFTP but am not very impressed. I still pre-
fer to go through Multiline and use their NCftp - it's a Un*x
shell thingy. Only problem is that although the D/L to Multi-
line is lightning fast you then have to D/L from Multline to
YOU at much slower rates. I've set my end up with a heap of
hot-keys for the shell including: open, close, exit, cdup,
page RECENT, recent, mget, etc. I just stumbled on some of the
commands (like sz and rm) in mags. They seem to enjoy making
things difficult. I've got Opus5 but haven't tried the ftp
add-on as yet. Must do so.
I've tried to install Thor with no success but "not to worry"
  I've just D/L'd Yam... NEW .. NEW .. NEW!

Thankyou for your interest - I've made a printout of your post
for future reference. Thanks for NOT laughing. One lousy
bar-steward suggested that maybe I was getting braille pictures!
Ha-bluddy-ha. I've got his name tucked away in my memory bank.

  Bye now ... Rodney rgrieves{at}cougar.multiline.com.au
