You're full of shit. The fastest CD drive for the PC is at 16 speed. thats 
eight times as fast as the cd palyers inthe saturn or psx. that is a total of 
2.4 megabytes a second. ROM chips can do thousands of megabytes a second. And 
there's the 100 millisecond seek time. ROM chips have about a 9milllisecond 
seek time.
