Well, you'll want to get it eventually, but also you
probably won't be miserable that you have to wait. It's
not something you need immediately. But when it happens
it happens. I'm still not sure if I like it. It's very
very clever, and that sometimes turns me off.

that would make more sense, imo

I find some Frisell I like fine but other stuff bores me,
though I know people who are big fans of his.
IS> KN> That sounds really interesting. Soh Band, huh?

I recently saw a live video a friend had of Masada
recorded 11 Dec 1993 with Zorn on horn. It was pretty
hot. Lots of good drumming.
IS> people say boud deun has stravinskian overtones, which i cant hear.
People say that about lots of bands, Stravinsky this and
Bartok that. All it means is that in general people know
very little about Stravinsky and Bartok.
IS> i listened the first hoyry kone album, its phenomenal music, on the
IS> king crimson magma axis.
Yet another reason I am going to have to check this band
out. THey are at the top of the list along with the
Hungarian band After Crying. Speaking of Hungarian bands
you might like Onehalf/Viperflat, which sound sort of
like 801 Live mixed with Material, very strong beat, very
loud and relentless, nice crunch to the guitars, a little
bit of Les Claypool sound on the bass. Not bad.
IS> i had 4 x-legged sally albums, a belgian band playing
IS> funky fusion kind of Zappa, they are cool.
I'll add this to the list to check out, since it sounds
like it's right up my alley.
IS> mike patton seems to have a new solo album have you listened it?
Not yet. I haven't even seen it anywhere. Of course,
after that last Faith No More album I'm not sure I want
to.
IS> this echo gets slower and slower. you can email me to

IS> to get faster replies,
I'll send to both addresses.
Cheers,
