Hi Gail,

GC>>> Thanks for the tips. I was hoping to not blot the sponge on spare
GC>>> newspaper or such.... kinda cheap and don't want waste the paint. :-)
GC>>
GC>> CL> I'm sure you could just squeeze any excess paint

GC>>
GC>>I was hoping I could find a method that didn't require paint up to my
elbows!
GC>>Paint and I seem to have a fasniation for each other I'm sure I'll
find a
GC>>method I can live with. I'll let you know which one worked for me !
I asked my brother about this...he has sponge painted everything in
sight in his apartment. ;) He said you do need to blot the sponge on
something first before dabbing it on the wall or you end up with big
blobs running down the wall. He said it is best if you poor out a
thin layer of paint into a flat dish...maybe one of those roller
trays...and dabbing the sponge into it then blotting off the excess
paint. If you try dipping the sponge right into the pail of paint
you'll end up with far too much paint on it.
Hope this helps.
