The FLOOD! I am just a guilty as anyone else: I
will send an E-Mail message where I would not bother to
print it out, put it in an envelop, and apply a 32c
stamp. Heck, this message is one of them! I figure
this message is NO COST (whatever costs are already
paid for/the same whether I send the message or not).
I have a friend who is a stamp collector. He
scans the InterNet for company names and sends E-mail
requests for their catalog by Snail mail. He doesn't
want the catalog - he wants the stamp! And it hasn't
cost him a cent to ask. Some companies ignore him,
some send E-mail explaining that their catalog is
online, and his postal carrier bitches about all the
heavy catalogs he receives!
