She didn't say Spock was a secondary character.  She made statements 
concerning why she enjoyed the movie, separated by a comma.

1.  I particularly like some of the secondary characters.  
2.  Spock was excellent. 

"etc. etc." means other reasons she enjoyed the movie (which she didn't 
mention) not other characters.

She perhaps could have written it better but it is clear what she meant.
