   There is a junction from \Documents and Settings to \Users. You can =
use the old path. Applications, at least ones that aren't broken, never = use
these as the names never were constant both due to localization and = the
ability to change them even to network locations. There have been = APIs to
query these locations for a long long time.

   Didn't you complain about \Documents and Settings when it was changed =
from \Profiles between Windows NT 4.0 and Windows 2000 because of the = spaces?
 Shouldn't you be happy that the spaces are gone?

  So riddle me this batman, if desktop search is so great, why did they =
have=20
  to move user profiles from where they were into a /users directory now =
thus=20
  breaking things that looks for bookmarks where they used to be? I mean =
if=20
  file organization doesn't matter then why the hell do they keep =
reorganizing=20
  things?

  Do they do this nonsense with every new version of Linux?
