I've read that you should scrape some of those difficult seeds
with sandpaper to speed germination but I've never tried it. I'm
with you, I'm not sure I'd have the nerve to use boiling water.
But I'll definitly soak them overnight first.

Sounds like if I want to try the NZ spinach I need quite a bit of
