What is this patch? Are you refering to the asynchronous focus change?
I enabled it, and it does make a little difference, in that the
input locking periods tend to get shorter, but not always.

I could imagine a complex application with multiple windows
interacting with each other malfunctioning if we suddenly changed the
PM message processing to async, but most well written applications
shouldn't suffer, and those little apps that have only one window and
one message queue will be totally unaffected.
Furhermore, it could be made user selectable, so if there were an
application that simply MUST use a SIQ, than it could be switched on
before you run it, and off after.
