Another example is Victoria's anal speed limit rules. Typcially, you WILL
get booked for going 5Km/h over the posted limit, but can get out of it if
you're happy to go to court with a statement from the car manufacturer that
their speedos have a stated accuracy of +/- 10% (of which they're happy to give
you).
Apparently, no victorian want's to go to court, so the state make lots of
money out of it.
That and, for some reason, victoria still has a stupidly high road toll.
Higher than other states apparently.
