Yep, they got stuck on Windows. Their mistake. They had to know Bill Gates
wouldn't never would allow any fair competiton on "his own" platform.

Maybe it would have been their best bet. As I said before, Bill Gates will
never allow any competition. So, on spending money on a Windows suite 8, 9,
10,
11 or whatsoever, they sure are moving to a bankrupt.
And, BTW, if they aren't prepared to learn some "old" code, why should their
costumers have to spent their valuable time on learning new tricks?
Costumers tend to be conservative, you know? The WP Corporation was aware of
that, Novell did forget completely about this.

Lot's of them. I presume, even more than Word x.x users.

I was there too. Agreed, WP6.0 Dos & WP6.0A Dos gave some horrible events.
ut
_everething_ was fixed in WP6.0b. And it was still WordPerfect
Corporation, at that time.

As I said before, IMHO competition on Windows leads to the dead end. Bill
Gates NEVER will allow any fair competition.

Do you really know much people that want to buy a complete suite 8-9-10?
aybe
you do, I don't know anyone. OS2 and Linux people do have enough to buy.
"Dummies" just buy a computer with some of BillyBoy's soft preinstalled.
Moreover, Lotus will bring out a complete native suite for OS2 in short time
(beta is there already, and looks good). Wich means on the OS2 platform Corel
will be wiped out eighter.
IMHO, the WP6.0b Dos is just about the best soft there is. WP6.2 Dos is
like,
not much difference. The Dos platform should still be their best bet. But
they
have screwed up things completely, I am afraid. Don't like it at all, but's
that seems to be the awfull truth.
