Ok so I downloaded the robotica 1080 version and guess what, it playes fine
in WMV but I get sound and no image in both MPC and zoom player.

So then I used Windows Movie Maker, and I published it as two file, One is
Windows Media HD 720p and the other is Windows Media DVD quality.

Guess what, the dvd quality one plays in all 3 media players, the HD
quality one only plays in WMP. Same codec, same content, Microsoft video,
conversion software and codec. Everything plays in all 3 media players on
W2K, HD versions don't play in anything but WMP on Vista.

It think its pretty obvious at this point that it's DRM at work here.
